Design for Freezing Climates
The
counterflow design of the ESWA Closed Circuit Cooler is well suited for
winter operation. The wet deck surface is totally encased, and protected
from freezing winds thus inhibiting ice formation on the fill section.
The even temperature gradient of the counterflow design further improves
winter operability by eliminating cold spots.
Evapco's
counterflow design solves the problem of fill collapse due to ice formation
on the exposed fill of crossflow designs.

The ESWA Closed Circuit Cooler is an Advanced Technology, induced draft counterflow design closed circuit cooler
featuring EVAPCO's patented THERMAL-PAK® COIL - the most efficient in the industry. The counterflow
design provides the ESWA Closed Circuit Cooler with inherently better
operational and maintenance features. The ESWA is now standard with CTI Certified Performance including
