The standard design of the EVAPCO UBT
provides the customer with the easiest cooling tower to maintain in the industry. There are additional options which can make
maintenance easier and extend the life of the cooling tower. These options are listed below.
A sloped access ladder is available for all UBT models (models UBT 8-56B through 8-96B use a vertical ladder). The EVAPCO designed access ladder features a sloped
“ships type” ladder arrangement which provides fast and easy access to the water distribution system and drive
components. A grab bar is attached to the sloped ladder for safe and easy ascent and descent. There is no need for safety
cages or railings with this design. The ladder(s) will ship loose and must be field mounted. The sloped ladder meets all
applicable OSHA requirements.
